Organizations Filed Purposes:
Dedicated to increasing access to capital for underrepresented entrepreneurs including but not limited to women, people of color, and veterans.
The ALLIANCE increases access to capital for diverse Bay Area entrepreneurs in two ways. (1) The Bay Area Capital Connections (BACC) Conference and (2) Bay Area Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Resource Navigation. Each year, the BACC Conference brings together entrepreneurs and business and financial experts from all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds to present panels, keynote presentations and pitch sessions by venture fundable companies with diverse leadership teams. In previous years, pitch finalists received free coaching and the opportunity to present to investors and the public. Judges gave feedback and selected the most fundable and highest social impact business model. Bay Area Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Resource Navigation makes business support resources more accessible to local, diverse entrepreneurs, tracks entrepreneur progress over time, and coordinates the rich ecosystem of business service providers, networks, funders, and governmental actors engaged in the Bay Area entrepreneurship ecosystem. We support entrepreneurs across all business stages that are seeking business training, technical assistance, growth strategies, and lending/funding.
