Organizations Filed Purposes: CERI'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE SOCIAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC HEALTH OF REFUGEES EFFECT BY WAR, GENOCIDE, AND OTHER FORMS OF TRAUMA.

In this fiscal year ( July 2019-June 2020) CERI provided social and psychological services to Southeast Asian as well as refugee and immigrants from other countries and expanded its services for families who were impacted by deportations and ICE raids. CERI continued its support groups for all of its community members, youth, adults and older adults along with individual therapy, outreach and case management in person from July- mid February and then though zoom, phone calls and outside and socially distanced with masked meetings after COVID-19. Since the beginning of the Pandemic, CERI successfully implemented a food equity program including groceries delivery, serving its refugee and immigrant families. Also, in partnership with local restaurants and World Central kitchen CERI provided hot meals for its community members .CERI was also awarded a contract to provide public benefits including MediCal and Cal-fresh. CERI received funding for emergency needs caused by COVID -19 for rent, food, utilities and other essential supplies.
