2019 AccomplishmentsMAAP apprentices worked on state-wide issues including Fight for 15, voter registration, and disenfranchisement from the 2018 gubernatorial election. Host sites include: Jobs with Justice, Black Male Initiative Georgia, and the Georgia Coalition for the Peoples Agenda in the metro Atlanta area, Athens, Columbus and Savannah. Partnered with Black Visions Collective to host a 3 day training in Minneapolis.Partnered with the Black LGBTQ Migrant Project to hold training with their members from across the country.Held second cohort of SubVert Labs, an 8 week training intensive and cultural program in St. Louis Missouri, cultivating and utilizing local artists throughout the entire process.SubVert's cohort produced an album within the six weeks to be released in 2021.Deepened movement accompaniment work within key national ecosystems and coalitions.
