Organizations Filed Purposes:
Hanyang University International Foundation (the "Charity") has been formed to receive contributions from members of the public interested in furthering educational endeavors - particularly those of Han yang University of Seoul, South Korea. The Charity will receive contributions, many of which are expected to be made by alumni of Hanyang University who now reside in the United States, and will make grants to Hanyang University or such other educational organizations as are determined by its Board of Directors. Contributors to the Charity will be informed that the Charity's Bylaws provide that the recipients of the Charity's educational grants are as determined by the Charity's Board of Directors.
The Charity will be funded by receiving contributions from the general public. It is expected that alumni of Han yang University will be solicited to contribute to the Charity through phone and email solicitations and other personal contact with the officers and directors of the Charity. The Charity may also consider other fundraising events, such as cocktail receptions or game nights.
THE ENTITY HAD INCREASED ITS FUNDRAISING ABILITY AND WAS ABLE TO COLLECT SUBSTANTIALLY MORE CONTRIBUTIONS THAN IN THE PRIOR YEAR.
