Housing Justice Policy Change: This portfolio is dedicated to working with impacted residents, community and policy leaders to design policies to advance Dr. Kings vision of beloved community. Priority areas for this year included the design and passage of north star housing policies that remove discriminatory barriers to housing access and stability and help prevent homelessness.

Community Outreach & Engagement: This portfolio focuses on helping to ensure that low income communities of color have access to critical information they need to participate in democracy and to access resources for basic human needs like housing. Priority areas for this year included conducting Census outreach to unhoused residents, conducting outreach on new housing policies and anti-displacement resources.

Technical Assistance to Advance Just Cities: This portfolio is dedicated to assisting community and policy leaders to eliminate poverty, discrimination, and racial and social inequities in their local communities. Priority areas for this year included supporting the development of the Black Cultural Zone Collaborative in East Oakland, the development of a cultural hub for inclusion and belonging, policy research and design of homelessness prevention and immediate dignified human rights based housing solutions.
