The mission of Children's Fairyland is to stimulate a child's imagination, creativity and desire to learn. We fulfill this mission by engaging more than 220,000 visitors annually.
The very first storybook theme park in America, Fairyland's main program is to provide families with young children a safe, creative place to play and learn. We serve more than 220,000 visitors annually. They engage with our story themed play sets, activate talking storybook boxes with the iconic magic key, see puppet shows, observe our gentle animals, and climb, slide, run and play. Additional programs include community outreach and field trips, serving 16,000 individuals annually with free or subsidized admissions; education programs with our animals in our gardens, and in classrooms, based on Fairyland's four pillars of education: literacy, science, creativity, and social/emotional development; summer camp including scholarships for children in need; family programs including catered birthday parties and summer sleepovers; children's theater; and volunteer recruitment and engagements including our volunteer-run toddler storytime.
