Through lacrosse we support Oakland Public School students in becoming healthy, confident, and self-empowered youth who effectively navigate systems, overcome challenges, and achieve their education and life goals.
Oakland Lacrosse programming falls into lacrosse activities and enrichment activities. The lacrosse program includes introductory clinics, PE classes, and team experiences. In total Oakland Lacrosse exposed the sport to 2,500 youth and 175 players participated on our teams. Our enrichment program includes academic counseling, high school placement, trips to college campuses, and events focused on career development. Our enrichment program also includes nutrition workshops and other connected wellness area.
