Organizations Filed Purposes:
We strive to teach children and young adults from all socio-economic backgrounds the importance of nutrition and balanced lifestyles through hands-on cooking classes that take place alongside real chefs with real ingredients in real restaurants.
Camps: kids from diverse backgrounds learn about balanced eating and healthy lifestyles through field trips to local farms, restaurants, urban gardens, and through hands-on cooking classes.
After school: classes are composed of approximately 15 7-13 year old students. They are led by chefs, right inside their restaurants. Classes are focused on wholesome, affordable simple recipes that can be recreated at home.
Apprenticeships/ Chef in Training: vocational culinary training program for young adults 16-23 years old that teaches them, right in the restaurants, the essential career skills to land a job in the culinary industry.
