Our mission is eliminate language barriers from humanitarian problems around the world. We believe it's a human right to be understood. Nobody should be denied support because of their language. Our goal is to provide language access to 1 million people in need - refugees, immigrants, health workers, lawyers, teachers, etc. - by mobilizing 1 million bilingual volunteers right from their phones. Today, we have the world's largest community of volunteer translators and interpreters available in 60+ languages. We provide community interpreter training, language justice consulting, and develop products that scale volunteerism and humanitarian impact by eliminating language barriers.
Our organization was able to provide on-demand translation and interpretation to over 5,000 beneficiaries in an array of day-to-day and critical uses on our platform. We grew our community of volunteers to 10,000+ through the year and now have 60+ languages available with an average connection time of 2 minutes.
