THE SQUAW VALLEY SKI MUSEUM FOUNDATION COLLECTS, PRESERVES, EXHIBITS AND INTERPRETS OUR WESTERN SKIING HERITAGE AND CELEBRATES THE LEGACY OF THE 1960 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES.
The Squaw Valley Ski Museum Foundation worked on strategic marketing and branding. The new name for fundraising will be the S.N.O.W. Sports Museum (Sierra Nevada Olympic & Winter Sports Museum). We received a Grant from Placer County that helped us work with our engineering and architectural consulting and designs, as well as the permitting process to the secure the land at the Squaw Valley Park.The foundation is working towards launching a new website and have additional grant submissions in progress.SVSMF worked with a professional film crew to capture stories from Olympian athletes in honor of the 60th anniversary of the 1960 Olympics.We continue to work towards our capital campaign
