Organizations Filed Purposes: THE GLOBAL EQUITY ORGANIZATION (GEO) IS A MEMBER-FOUNDED AND MEMBER-DRIVEN NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF EQUITY COMPENSATION WORLDWIDE THROUGH A GLOBAL COMMUNITY OF WELL-INFORMED PROFESSIONALS.

ANNUAL CONFERENCETHE 20TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE GLOBAL EQUITY ORGANIZATION (GEO) WAS HELD IN AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, IN APRIL 2019. THE CONFERENCE ATTRACTED APPROXIMATELY 460 DELEGATES FROM 23 COUNTRIES FOR A MEETING THAT INCLUDED MORE THAN 50 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND MULTIPLE NETWORKING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES. IN TOTAL, THE CONFERENCE PROVIDED MORE THAN 50 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS FOR DELEGATES. ADDITIONALLY, THE 20TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS SIMULTANEOUSLY BROADCAST VIRTUALLY AND/OR RECORDED TO ENABLE MEMBERS WHO COULD NOT ATTEND IN PERSON TO ACCESS THE INFORMATION ONLINE AND ON DEMAND.

REGIONAL EVENTS AND LOCAL CHAPTER MEETINGS GEO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION TO BRING SHARE PLAN EDUCATION TO PARTICIPANTS AROUND THE GLOBE WITH A FOCUS ON REGIONALLY-BASED EDUCATION PROGRAMS. IN 2019, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED MORE THAN 700 INDIVIDUALS VIA SIX REGIONAL EVENTS INCLUDING GEO'S NORTHERN CALIFORNIA FORUM, THE GEO/CEPI EAST COAST SYMPOSIUM (EXECUTED COLLABORATIVELY WITH THE CERTIFIED EQUITY PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE "CEPI"), THE AMERICAS REGIONAL EVENT IN HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA (WHICH INCLUDED PRE CONFERENCE PROGRAMMING FOR PROFESSIONALS NEW TO THE FIELD), THE ANNUAL REGIONAL EVENTS IN SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA AND THE PAN EUROPEAN REGIONAL EVENT HELD IN BERLIN, GERMANY. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION'S CHAPTER NETWORK OF 20+ ACTIVE CHAPTERS HOSTED APPROXIMATELY 40 CHAPTER MEETINGS ACROSS THE GLOBE. ON AVERAGE, EACH LOCAL CHAPTER MEETS TWO TO THREE TIMES PER YEAR AND ATTRACTS AN AVERAGE AUDIENCE OF 30-50 MEMBERS FOR EACH SESSION.

MEMBER RESOURCESIN ADDITION TO OUR GEOGRAPHICALLY DIVERSE CONFERENCE AND REGIONAL EVENTS, GEO PROVIDES OUR MEMBERS A SUITE OF SERVICES INCLUDING OUR WEEKLY GEONEWS E-NEWSLETTER, 10-15 REGULARLY SCHEDULED WEBCASTS PER YEAR, OUR REPOSITORY OF GLOBAL SHARE PLAN INFORMATION HOUSED ON THE GEO WEBSITE AND UPDATED DAILY, OUR ANNUAL GLOBAL EQUITY INSIGHTS SURVEY (AVAILABLE TO GEO MEMBERS), UNLIMITED ACCESS TO OUR PRIVATE ONLINE COMMUNITY, GEOCONNECT, WHERE MEMBERS CAN ASK AND ANSWER QUESTIONS WITH COLLEAGUES AROUND THE WORLD 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK AND OUR SELECTION OF HONORARY AND VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS SUCH AS GEO FELLOWS AND GEO AWARDS, MENTORING SERVICES AND VARIOUS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
