Significant activities: Hosting competitions for youth performing arts from February through April of each year, facilitating evaluation and feedback from world-renowned adjudicators to participating percussion ensembles from across the state, and facilitating a community roundtable discussion each year that brings together all the top percussion educators, composers, and designers from around the region.
SCPA exists to promote the growth of the percussive arts through competition, performance and educational activities, and to encourage goodwill, good sportsmanship and camaraderie through such activities.
