To provide an enriching museum experience based on maritime history ranging from ancient mariners to the modern marine era, and to enhance the understanding of our rich international and local seafaring heritage with a focus on educational programs.
Provided display and interpretation of the evolution of marine art and ships from the Age of Sail through modern times to 20,000 visitors. Enabled teachers to complement core curriculum standards for social and marine science with our exhibits for 3,000 youth, most funded through corporate and foundation donations.
