To support the economic security of Pacifica families and individuals by providing a safety net of food, housing assistance, and other critical services including coaching, advocacy, information and referral.
This year, Pacifica Resource Center assisted one in ten Pacifica families by providing over 267 tons of groceries to benefit over 30,000 (duplicated) Pacifica children, adults, and seniors; preventing homelessness and sheltering 179 Pacificans; preparing taxes for 208 households, generating nearly $370,000 in refunds and saving taxpayers over $46,000 in tax preparation fees; preparing 168 Pacifica youth for school with backpacks and grade-specific school supplies; providing Thanksgiving assistance to 518 children, adults, and seniors in Pacifica; delivering holiday gifts to 214 children and their families; and providing over 500 showers to unhoused Pacificans, helping them prepare for work, job interviews and housing search.
