THE ORGANIZATION MADE DISTRIBUTIONS TO RESEARCH AND EFFECT CHANGE IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE AREA AND RELATED FIELDS. WITH GRANTS FROM THE ORGANIZATION, GRANTEES MAY CONDUCT A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING RESEARCH, PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY, DIRECT OR GRASSROOTS LOBBYING, OR PERMISSIBLE AMOUNTS OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY, ALL FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM AND PROMOTING SOCIAL WELFARE.
