Ada's Cafe and Catering is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to hiring, training, and empowering people with disabilities through its commercial food service business. Ada's also engages local youth to participate in cafe operations as job buddies to partner with its disabled associates. Ada's believes that youth engaged in meaningful work and life experiences will feel more connected to their communities.

Both Ada's Cafe in the Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto and the catering operation continued to thrive in 2019. We engaged in research projects regarding supported employment for people with disabilities. We continued to expand the number of customers served and the number of people with disabilities we train and employ.
