EACH YEAR, THE CLUB PRESENTS FINE ART EXHIBITIONS AT LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE, GIVING MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THEIR WORK JURIED/JUDGED AND EXHIBITED FOR FELLOW MEMBERS, ART COLLECTORS AND SCHOLARS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO VIEW, LEARN FROM AND ENJOY.
PROMOTES FINE ARTS IN THE FIELDS OF PAINTING, DRAWING AND SCULPTURE REFERRED TO AS "TRADITIONAL AND "REPRESENTATIONAL" ART. IN PARTICULAR, EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON ACADEMIC TRADITIONS AND TECHNIQUES CHAMPIONED BY THE FOUNDERS OF THE CLUB; THE PROMOTION AND PRODUCTION OF ART EXHIBITIONS THAT FOSTER UNDERSTANDING AND INTERPRETATION OF TRADITIONAL ART HERITAGE; AND FURNISHING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN FINE ARTS.THE CLUB OFFERS MYRIAD EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, FOR BOTH ARTISTS AND PATRONS OF THE ARTS INCLUDING PAINT AND SCULPT-OUTS, LECTURES, PAINTING AND SCULPTING DEMONSTRATIONS, CRITIQUE SESSIONS, MENTORING, ART RETREATS, MUSEUM TOURS, MASTER ARTIST WORKSHOPS, A WEEKEND ART SYMPOSIUM, AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS. IN ADDITION, THE CLUB OFFERS SPECIAL PROGRAMMING FOR COLLECTORS' CIRCLE MEMBERS THAT FOCUSES ON EDUCATION AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH LEADING ARTISTS AND FELLOW COLLECTORS, AND OFFERS MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT ART AND MEET LEADING ARTISTS WHILE NETWORKING WITH OTHER BUSINESS LEADERS.
THE CLUB PUBLISHES AN AWARD-WINNING QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, A 32-PAGE PUBLICATION DESIGNED TO INFORM AND EDUCATE CLUB MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT BOTH HISTORICAL AND CURRENT ISSUES INVOLVING TRADITIONAL FINE ART. THE NEWSLETTER IS DISTRIBUTED TO INDIVIDUALS AS WELL AS TO A LARGE NUMBER OF MUSEUMS, SCHOOLS, ART ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, WITH A TOTAL CIRCULATION OF APPROXIMATELY 6,000, FOUR TIMES PER YEAR.
