Organizations Filed Purposes: The Cantinas Foundation is a non-profit foundation that exists to transform our modern day culture through opportunities where God can be magnified through the Arts and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Cantinas Foundation was created to be an outreach arts ministry with the purpose of development of Christian leaders through dynamic performances, inspirational concerts, exciting workshops and retreats, artist development, and community service opportunities.

Outreach arts ministry to train and develop Christian leaders and artists.

Cantinas Music The Foundation employs a Director and musicians who work to develop and advocate for artists, empowering them to create art that impacts broader culture. In 2019, the Foundation's National Rising Artist Worship Song Contest received hundreds of original compositions from across the globe during its two-month submission window. The Foundation has expanded our Music Community and Operations in Nashville in the areas of songwriting, music management, and industry network. The Foundation has used this expansion to enhance our contest prize package and a more significant opportunity for our artists to launch into the Christian Music Industry. The Foundation also sponsored the Cantinas Night of Faith in Paso Robles, CA, where 5,000 concert attendees witnessed over 40 Cantinas Artists in a single, unifying evening of worship and the arts on the Central Coast.

Cantinas Dance The Dance Program is a year long intensive program that provides access to mentors and other artists in a nuturing space that allows them to focus on honing their craft and continue to express their talents in a spiritually elevated surrounding. The Foundation employs full time, part time and independent contractor staff--all leaders in the arts & entertainment industry--who seek to inspire with meaningful performances and are committed to developing the next generation of dancers through high-caliber workshops and targeted community service programs. In 2019, the Foundation created over 20 collaborative pieces to be performed both live and through video at numerous conferences, schools, churches, award shows, conventions, and non-profit fundraising events.

Cantinas Ranch Camp and LandThe Foundation was in process of trying to develop a Christian Arts retreat center on the owned land in the Lake Nacimiento area. The Foundation spent 2019 meeting with the County assesors to get permits to build as well as re-asses the land value to it's current rate in order to reduce the property taxes associated with the acerage. This effort led to a reduction of the property taxes but the Cal Fire expectations and ultimate rejection of the proposal for building have made it financially impossible to build the retreat center. The Foundation and it's board of directors are looking to sell the land in 2020 and hold all camps and retreats on rented property.
