HEAR Center (the "Center") is a non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to helping people at all stages of life be a part of the hearing and speaking world. The Center believes communication through speech and hearing is a vital ability that connects and empowers individuals - dramatically enhancing quality of life and opening doors to the world at large. Founded on the premise that everyone should have access to state-of-the-art and affordable care. Committed to serving as a center of excellence and compassion, the Center provides low or no-cost services for those who need them and is the only organization in Los Angeles County that goes out into the community to provide free specialized hearing and speech screenings.
Hear Center, a nonprofit organization since 1954, offers complete and affordable hearing and speech services, and is dedicated to helping people of all stages of life be a part of the hearing speaking world.
HEAR Center is a nonprofit hearing and speech clinic. We offer complete diagnostic audiological services, hearing aid dispensing, speech and language evaluations and therapy. This fiscal year we served 1,313 clients with audiology and speech-language services. We screened 4,592 children and seniors for potentially disabling hearing and speech disorders, and provided hundreds more with information on hearing and speech. All screening services are provided for Free and are available to the community.
