Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Mission Statement: Lineage Dance is a nonprofit contemporary dance company dedicated to presenting works of dance and other art forms to audiences of all demographic and socio-economic backgrounds.
LPAC Events are Lineage Dances public performances of dance, theater and music. As part of Lineages mission of making the arts accessible to all, we engage in ticket giveaways, discounted and scholarship tickets for students and teachers, and generally maintain low ticket costs below the industry average.
Dance for Joy is Lineage Dances program of free arts education for persons with neurological challenges such as Parkinsons, Alzheimers, MS, TBI, stroke and aneurysm, and our offsite programs at senior centers Montecedro, and The Fair Oaks, and for Alzheimer's Patients at CAPS in Sierra Madre, CA.
Dance Education is Lineages program of bringing dance teaching artists into local public and private schools, which include: Altadena Elementary, Buckley School, Eliot Arts Magnet, The Okhatharaka Girls Camp, Marshall Fundamental, Pasadena Educational Foundations Summer Camp, San Marino High, Sierra Madre Middle School, and Windward School.
