DURING OUR 2018-19 SEASON (FYE 7/31/19), LOS ANGELES CHILDREN'S CHORUS (LACC) SERVED 400 CHILDREN AND TEENS THROUGH OUR CORE EDUCATION PROGRAM AND REACHED SOME 115,000 AUDIENCE MEMBERS THROUGH LIVE PERFORMANCES. CHORISTERS PARTICIPATED IN APPROXIMATELY 350 REHEARSALS (CORE PROGRAM AND FOR SPECIAL COLLABORATIVE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES), 600 INDIVIDUAL VOCAL COACHING SESSIONS, 23 MUSICIANSHIP CLASSES (LASTING 24 WEEKS EACH), RETREATS FOR ALL 6 CHOIRS, 2 MASTER CLASSES, 1 REGIONAL TOUR, 1 INTERNATIONAL TOUR, AND 106 FIRST EXPERIENCES CLASSES. MORE THAN 160 PIECES OF MUSIC WERE LEARNED.CHORISTERS SHARED THEIR ARTISTRY THROUGH 25 SELF-PRODUCED CONCERTS AND EVENTS AND 15 ARTISTIC COLLABORATIONS (27 PERFORMANCES), HIGHLIGHTS OF WHICH INCLUDE: DEBUT WITH VOCAL ICON MEREDITH MONK; TWO LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC ENGAGEMENTS; APPEARANCE IN LA OPERA'S "HANSEL AND GRETEL" AT THE DOROTHY CHANDLER PAVILION; LACC'S WINTER CONCERT, WHICH INCLUDED AN ARRAY OF FESTIVAL CAROLS, SEASONAL SONGS FROM VENEZUELA, AND WORKS BY BACH, KODALY, VERDI AND OTHERS; FREE CONCERTS WTIH THE HAMBURG GIRLS CHOIR AND COPENHAGEN GIRLS' CHOIR; SOUL FORCE SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL IN PASADENA DURING EARTH DAY WEEKEND; AND LACC'S SPRING CONCERT CELEBRATING CHILDREN AND FEATURING WORKS BY MOLLICONE, ARLEN AND OTHERS.
