The EDRA annual conference hosts approximately 400 researchers, academics, Students & policy makers who discuss & learn about the latest research in environmental design.The Association also publishes a bi-annual newsletter, a peer reviewed publication & conference proceedings, which synthesize & disseminate knowledge in design & planning for people that are important to members who teach or practice in over 20 countries.The Great Places Awards is now in its 21st year. This award recognizes work that combines expertise in design, research & practice, & contributes to advance the organization's goal to help create dynamic, humane places that engage our attention & imagination. Award-winning projects reflect and interdisciplinary approach that is enduring, human-centered, sustainable & concerned with the experiential relationship between people & their designated environments.We offer an annual Graduate Student Workshop and hold online webinars and events to disseminate scientific knowledge and creative endeavors in professional and academic context around the world.
