When communities work together to eliminate inequities, our youth will thrive. The West Contra Costa Public Education Fund mobilizes resources for our students and aligns the efforts of our partners to ensure that all students succeed in college, career and life.
We advocate for excellence in education. We assist schools in providing high quality learning experiences, promote community engagement and investment in education.
The Ed Fund has been providing fiscal sponsorship to individuals and organizations supporting education and equity enrichment opportunities for district students and the greater community.
The Ed Fund has supported district initiatives surrounding college access and readiness, out of school time, and scholarships.The Ed Fund has supported district families and the broader community by managing funds donated for local response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Initially making direct payments to needy families the purpose has shifted to holding funds for other community organizations and for addressing the digital divide that threatens educational access for many district students.
