Organizations Filed Purposes: TO RAISE FUNDS TO ENRICH OUR COMMUNITY BY SUPPORTING, EXPANDING & ADVANCING ARTS AND CULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES.

THE FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS ANNUALLY THROUGH GRANTS, SPONSORSHIPS & FUNDRAISING EFFORTS TO SUPPORT AND GENERATE ARTS EXPERIENCES IN OUR COMMUNITY. ITS PRIMARY FOCUS IS THE SUPPORT OF PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS AT THE LEWIS FAMILY PLAYHOUSE, INCLUDING GENERAL SUPPORT OF $39,000 FOR PRODUCTIONS BY MAINSTREET THEATRE COMPANY, BROADWAY AT THE GARDENS, AND RANCHO CUCAMONGA COMMUNITY THEATRE, IN ADDITION TO A VARIETY OF GUEST ARTISTS. GRANT FUNDS RECEIVED IN 19/20 PROVIDED 1,884 TITLE 1 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS FREE ADMISSION TO ATTEND SCHOOL PERFORMANCES, PLUS FREE ADMISSION TO 44 LOW-INCOME AND FOSTER FAMILIES, AND 453 TICKETS TO FAMILIES OF ACTIVE MILITARY OR VETERANS, 80 TICKETS TO THE LGBT COMMUNITY. FOUNDATION-SPONSORED TICKET DISCOUNTS PROVIDED 1,208 FAMILY MEMBERS WITH A REDUCED TICKET PRICE TO ATTEND PROFESSIONAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS AT THE LEWIS FAMILY PLAYHOUSE, SUPPORTING OUR EFFORT TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE ACCESS TO THE ARTS FOR ALL AGES. DUE TO COVID-19, MOST OF THE SPRING 2020 PROGRAMS AT THE LEWIS FAMILY PLAYHOUSE WERE CANCELED, LEAVING REMAINING FUNDS INTENDED FOR 19/20 PROGRAMS, HELD IN ACCOUNT FOR FUTURE USE.THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS FUNDING FOR ARTS PROGRAMS THROUGH OUR MINI-GRANT PROGRAM WHICH, IN 19/20, FUNDED EQUIPMENT AND ARTS MATERIALS FOR FOUR HIGH SCHOOLS, AND SPONSORED AN ON-CAMPUS MURAL. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS BETWEEN $500 TO $1,000 TO NINE GRADUATING SENIORS PURSUING ARTS EDUCATION. THE FOUNDATION AGAIN SPONSORED AN ANNUAL 3-DAY ART EXHIBIT BY THE ASSOCIATED ARTISTS OF THE INLAND EMPIRE, FREE TO THE PUBLIC, REPRESENTING LOCAL ARTISTS' WORK WHICH IS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 500 COMMUNITY MEMBERS.FUNDRAISING REVENUES WERE ALSO DOWN DUE TO CANCELED SPRING 2020 FUNDRAISING EVENTS, WHICH RESULTED IN A DECREASE IN REVENUES FOR 19/20.
