To develop young leaders on and off the soccer field. The Vision is to use soccer as a common ground to create a sustainable youth leadership ecosystem that will drive powerful community service and personal success.
San Diego Football Center Youth Leadership Academy (SDFC): Brought together nearly 200 youth from across San Diego County and beyond. Taught core values of Accountability, Community, Humility, Integrity, Meritocracy and Respect through the sport of soccer. Illustrated decision making and leadership through soccer. Provided volunteering opportunities to the youth, and opportunities to experience different cultures through training, volunteering and travel. Provided diverse learning opportunities from experts to families on subjects such as: sports nutrition, mental training and leadership through sports.
