Our mission is to bring together our community to support the healing of family violence survivors, and to integrate capable partners with a comprehensive service approach to renew individuals and our community from a trauma of family violence.
Client services (crisis support and long term safe programs):The Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance operates One-Stop Centers for children, youth and adults affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking. By locating many service providers in one place, we help people in crisis to find hope, safety, and healing through a single door. After dealing with their crisis, we work with them to make long-term safety plans and connect them with services to enhance their life skills, well-being and self-sufficiency.
Capacity building and community engagement: As a backbone organization, we provide efficient infrastructure, coordination, and support for direct-service partner organizations to work together. We specialize in capacity building and training, from curriculum development to evaluation; and organize countywide law enforcement trainings. We also lead community-building initiatives to engage residents, survivors, and community partners to increase community awareness of interpersonal violence.
