Organizations Filed Purposes:
The organization's mission is to foster healthy development in infants and young children who are at risk, abused, neglected, emotionally disturbed, or affected by family substance abuse by providing comprehensive mental health treatment and early education services to them and to their families. We served approximately 230 children, families, childcare providers, and teachers in fiscal year 2019-2020. We also served over 50 social service and mental health professionals in our educational lecture series. Needy families in the community received 160 food boxes to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
To provide comprehensive mental health treatment to children by accessing risk, abuse, neglect, emotionally disturbed, or affected by family substance abuse.
Specialized mental health services for at-risk children ages 0-6 and their families. This program provides individual play therapy; child-parent dyadic therapy including home visiting; parental support and consultation; and intensive therapeutic preschool services for seriously emotionally disturbed children. 174 children and their families served in this program and the next program listed.
Wraparound Treatment and Mental Health Services is an innovative team-based approach to providing mental health services and supportive services to families with multiple problems and who are involved with multiple public and private agencies. 24 children and their families served in this program and the program listed above.
Child Care Solutions provides mental health consultation and training for child care providers at 39 sites in managing troubled and at-risk children; A) Assessment of children who are experiencing difficulty in child care and preschool settings; B) Counseling and referral for their families; C) Counseled and trained childcare providers and teachers. This program assisted 54 children and their families gain the necessary knowledge to fulfill their needs.
