To identify and increase econimic development/leader skills opportunities for African Americans and other minorities. This mission shall be also inclusive of our military veterans population in Riverside County.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM - SOCIAL YOUTH ENTREPRENEURAL AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING - IN CONJUNCTION WITH RIVERSIDE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYTEM, WE CONDUCT THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM. THE PRIMARY GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEVELOPING MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND TO INCREASE RESILIENCY AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN POPULATION OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY. THE PROGRAM HELPS WITH LEARNING HOW TO PROPERLY DEAL WITH PEER PRESSURE, BUILDING GREATER SELF ESTEEM, AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS.
