To create high value jobs in the North Bay by enabling and accelerating the success of entrepreneurs, innovators and startups within a dynamic sustainable and synergistic environment by doing the following:Stimulate regional economic development through entrepreneurships and enterprise development.Provide infrastructure, training, management assistance, financial resources, and support networks that enable new and emerging companies to succeed and prosper creating value-added jobs for the local region through their commercialization.Create a hub activity contributing to the development of a thriving live/work community in the eco-conscious Sonoma Mountain Village.
SoCo Nexus operated the North Bay Make-A-Thon, a 27-hour party for innovation. Teams of between three and six members used the tools provided to create innovative designs.
SoCo Nexus hosts various social events, such as Mixers, to enable the Incubator's clients, and other start-ups, to interact with mentors, experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and others professionals.
Sprout is the SoCo Nexus acceleration/mentorship program. Sprout's exclusive mentoring program takes North Bay startups from the business plan stage through angel round funding. Our mentors are successful entrepreneurs and executives who are now angel investors and advisors passionate about empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
