Maryvale's mission, inspired by the compassionate service of our Vincential Founders, faithful to Catholic Social Teaching rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the charism of the Daughters of Charity, is to heal, empower and educate children and families in order to instill hope for a more fulfilling future. We do this by providing residential, educational, mental health and community-based services in an environment of dignity, love and respect.
Residential Treatment - Maryvale cares for abused, abandoned and neglected children in the foster care and probation system. This program helps children heal from past trauma through intensive mental health services and care that addresses physical, emotional and sexual abuse. During the period covered, this program provided 15,088 days of service to 108 girls and boys ages 6 to 18.
Early Education - Maryvale's two Early Education Centers provide learning curriculums that nurture and stimulate active and curious preschoolers. It instills a love lifelong learning and provides a foundation for future academic success. During the period covered, this program provided services to 398 unduplicated children.
Mental Health - Along with providing mental health services to the children in its residential treatment program, Maryvale provides mental health support for children and families in the community. These services offered to at-risk youth/families include therapy, parenting education, community resource referrals and other services to provide the family with tailored mental health and support care.During the period covered, this program provided services to 373 unduplicated clients.
