The Association is dedicated to advancing public knowledge of and appreciation for the American Zinfandel grape and its unique place in our culture and history. This mission is achieved by organized events and tours throughout the year.

The Organization provides educational programs to advance the knowledge of the Zinfandel grape. The largest event is the annual Zinfandel Experience which was held in January 2020. It was a three day event attended by over 3,000 people. Activities included educational seminars, wine tasting, and wine and food pairing. Additional events were held in California, Florida, and New York with a focus on Zinfandel education for people in the area. Over 1,000 people attended these activities. The organization conducted media events showcasing Zinfandel, including tastings, seminars and vineyard tours.
