The Outsmart Disaster Campaign was designed by Californias Business Consumer Services and Housing Agency (BCSH) to communicate risks, provide resources, and call to action businesses and organizations with the goal of collectively becoming more prepared to reduce damages and speed up business recovery in California. With the help of BCSHs partner, The California Academy for Economic Development (The Academy), the goal of the campaign is to assist interested participants in their endeavor to become resilient. The Academy has a contract with BCSH to serve as the fiscal agent and managing entity for the program.

CONDUCT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDING IDENTIFYING BEST PRACTICES, PARTNERING WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, DEVELOP AND CONDUCT AN ECONOMIC SUMMIT AND BASIC COURSE IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
