CAPSES is a statewide professional association of non-public schools, agencies, organizations and individuals that specializes in the delivery of quality special education programs to students with special education needs
Advocacy - Coordinated with Capitol Advisors on advocacy related to SB 98, AB 1172. Other advocacy efforts included collaboration with California Department of Education and local SELPA's. Collaborated with NAPSES on federal issues. Ongoing stakeholder engagement with CAPSES partner groups: NAPSEC, CASA, CALABA, Children Now, CSBA, etc.

CAPSES promoted vendor members that offer discounts on programs and products. CAPSES created a "Re-opening Guidance" for NPS/NPAs. CAPSES launched an NPA taskforce to recruit new NPA members and provide platform to discuss NPA issues. CAPSES secured PPE for members through partnership with CAPSPO.
