Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of CCAPP is to promote excellence in the delivery of services focused on substance use and its associated problems by providing the highest level of advocacy, competence, and ethics among programs and professionals.

CCAPP members are uniting programs and professionals, and increasing the quality of treatment in California by producing solutions to make treatment in communities work. Memberships levels remained constant during the year while membership benefits continued to expand - such as online trainings which include ethics training, business trainings, nine-hour registrant course, online district training registrations, new insurance benefits through Van Wagner Group and discounts and scholarships for students of CCAPP Academy. CCAPP created new websites to ensure the quality of its members needs. CCAPP is also implementing Program Membership applications online as well applications for Schools and Providers. CCAPP held 48 trainings and monthly program conference calls and continues to lead the way on local advocacy issues.A successful California Addiction Conference 2019 was held at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach on 10/31/2019-11/3/2019. The Addiction Leadership Conference was held virtually in Sacramento on 3/31/20 4/1/20. And, the Multi-Cultural conference was held virtually in Sacramento on 7/16/20-7/17/20.CCAPP acquired BHAP (Behavioral Health Association of Providers) on June 7, 2019 which continues to grow. Along with BHAP, CCAPP also acquired www.findtreatment.com.CCAPP started a new website www.californiacredentialing.org which is an informational site covering the certification process in California.CCAPP changed its application acceptance process which are now all submitted online through Certemy. Conference registrations are also online through www.ccappconferences.com portal for all conferences, trainings, and workshops.The telephone queue monitoring system was implemented to monitor call volume during Business hours. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, phone lines are open from Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-4pm.CCAPP launched two Facebook groups under Counselor Magazine to create a positive environment for programs and professionals to interact.
