The Organization works to encourage and assist in the advancement and development of recreational facilities and services, to assist in providing advanced education to park and recreational personnel, to engage in research for the purpose of assisting advancement and development of park and recreation services and facilities, and to disseminate information related to the field of parks and recreation throughout the State of California.
