CCAPP Credentialing's mission is to license and certify qualified addiction focused professionals towards attaining the highest professional standards.
CCAPP Credentialing is California's largest certifying body within the State. This year, we increased the number of our certified counselors which are now approximately 20,000 throughout California. CCAPP continuously ensures the raised quality and efficiency of its counselors, and the ethics committee safeguards their work. All applications are now completed online through our new website, Certemy. There is a new career ladder which has been implemented to include the Peer Recovery workforce. Disciplinary guidelines have been updated. The number of registered Sober Living Environments remains constant. New credentialing staff members were hired to ensure the quality of work, and applications are being processed in a timely manner. Our new Recovery Resource Manager collaborates with the SOARR and NAARR standards for sober living.
