The Fulton Avenue Improvement Association is a Benefit Assessment District formed to improve the commercial area of Fulton Avenue in Sacramento, California.

The Association is a direct levy entity created under the authority of the Property and Business Improvement District Law of 1994 (Streets and Highways code 36600). Direct levies are added to secured property tax bills and collected by Sacramento County. These funds are then remitted to the Association for the benefit of the Direct Levy District. The Fulton Avenue Association finished 2019 having held four successful community events: A 4th of July Pool Party at Cottage Park; CruiseFest on Fulton Avenue; the 1st Annual Holiday Light Parade; and the annual Tree Lighting celebration. As part of the Tree Lighting, the Association purchased a 45 ft. Aptos Sequoia and planted it in our District. This forever tree, which we call Tree of Grace was paid for by the Association but was dedicated to the community of Arden Arcade. All of our events were free to members and the public at large. Our partners in these events were the Fulton El Camino Recreation and Park District, Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District, Chick-Fil-A Arden Fair, and the California Auto Museum. Our District Clean-up/Homeless Mitigation and Security programs remain a high priority, as well as continued funding for maintenance of our in-street monuments and up lighting projects.
