Organizations Filed Purposes: The Infant Development Association advocates for improved, effective prevention and early intervention services by providing information, education, and training to parents, professionals, decision makers, and others in the field of early intervention.IDA consists of 4 chapters throughout California where local meetings of professionals and families are held to discuss and learn about a variety of topics and issues related to early intervention and child development. IDA with the volunteers representing families and professionals in the field of early intervention identify educational needs, information and resource needs, and policies to improve early intervention services in California.
