THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE RECOGNITION, HONOR, AID AND ASSISTANCE TO ALL MARINES AND CORPSMEN, AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS ASSISTING, PROVIDING RECOGNITION AND HONORING OTHER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES, AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS A BENEFICIAL PATRIOTIC MISSION.
During 2019, the Marine Corps Veterans Association provided cash gifts to veterans of the Armed Forces, especially those severely injured in combat, such as providing Leatherneck magazines to military hospitals, Honor Guard rifles, bugles and uniforms for military funerals, rent and living expenses for combat veterans released from VA polytrauma hospitals, and gifts of patriotic items to tens of thousands of people who have made donations to the Marine Corps Veterans Association. These items, publicly displayed, provide recognition and honor to all members of the Armed Forces, including Marines and Corpsmen, and support other patriotic causes.
