The Parks Foundation of Monterey County is dedicated to enriching cultural, environmental and recreational programs in Monterey County Parks. The Parks Foundation has helped refurbish the Avenue of Honor at San Lorenzo Park. This is a memorial to all the fallen military in Monterey County. Many of the Parks Foundations programs have been shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic park closures and restrictions.
