Organizations Filed Purposes:
To engage the caring power of the community to improve peoples lives. We work collaboratively with our partner agencies, other community organizations, public agencies, corporations, philanthropic and faith-based organizations and individuals. We focus on solutions.
Community Services: Our holiday donations of food and gifts served over 950 individuals. The Digital Marketing Outreach includes: 46,280 website visitors, 4,291 email followers, 201,061 Facebook visitors, and 46,563 twitter impressions. Our Women United program is committed to helping the underserved young women thru programs such as: Interview For Success, College Readiness, which combine practical topics such as resume writing, healthy lifestyles, self-marketing, appropriate dress and job etiquette, social networking, and college prep courses. The Next Step Mentoring Program mentors and supports at-risk young women as they complete high school and/or prepare for post-secondary education or careers for improved quality of life. These programs reached approximately 300 young women. Distributed in-kind food and supplies valued at $624,966 was provided during the year.
