Organizations Filed Purposes:
Provides complete professional dental services to uninsured and underinsured children between the ages of 3 to 18 living in the San Bernardino and surrounding communities including Colton, Highland and Muscoy. Services are provided for a $20 fee, regardless of number of services provided. No child is ever turned away if they can not afford to pay the fee.
The children of San Bernardino served are from families of every ethnic, religious and racial background who do not have dental insurance, and are low income.
The Dr. Earl R. Crane Children's Dental Health Center serves uninsured and underinsured children ages 3-18. Assistance League of San Bernardino (ALSB) sponsors the Dental Center as well as the oral hygiene instruction in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Through the efforts of the dentist and ALSB volunteers this program reaches 4,700 students. ALSB and the Dental Center are a presence at many local health fairs that reach 3,000 area residents. The Dental Center also funded 6 patients for orthodontic treatment.
