Organizations Filed Purposes: Catholic Worker Hospitality house exists to serve the needs of low-income and homeless individuals through the direct practice of the Works of Mercy -- feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, visiting the sick and imprisoned, clothing the naked, giving drink to the thirsty, and comforting the afflicted.

Catholic Worker Hospitality House serves the need of homeless and low-income individuals through the following programs: free dining room five mornings a week, year-round homeless shelter, three low-income housing units, and a transitional housing unit for folks released from prison.

DINING ROOM: Operate free dining room five mornings a week for low-income and homeless individuals. Serve seventy to eighty guests each morning. Shower facilities and food to go are also available during meal time.

HOMELESS SHELTER: Operate year-round homeless shelter for adult men and women with space for nine guests each evening.

AFFORDABLE AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING: Operate three low-income housing units: Second Ave House, Chapman House, and Masson House. At Second Ave House and Chapman House rooms are rented to former dining room and shelter guests, thus providing permanent housing to former homeless individuals. The third unit, Masson House, is rented to a low-income family with young children. Finally, we operate Peralta House in Oakland CA as transitional re-entry housing for individuals coming out of prison
