The primary mission of Community Foundation of San Carlos is to amplify the work of nonprofits serving San Carlos through grants from its endowment income community donations and to raise funds for special projects addressing community needs. CFSC will also strive to build a greater sense of community in San Carlos through its outreach.

An unexpected significant opportunity presented itself along with the Corona Virus Pandemic We established the San Carlos COVID-19 Response fund. For this fund we raised over 400,000 and our board approved grants to over 30 organizations. Our grants targeted core services including food and housing, PPE for our local hospitals, small business support, and multiple rounds of relief grants to local not-for-profits.
