Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to develop community leaders who organize to change systems in order to create racial and economic equity in the Bay Area region.
Immigration We support the operation of the Rapid Response Hotline, providing to the immigrant community knowledgeable of their rights; referrals to legal assistance; and training of accompaniment teams to be present at court hearings, and ICE check ins.
Fair Housing We organize the community to advocate for accessible affordable housing, reduction of evictions, and tenant rights. Each year, weengage 600-800 residents through organizing campaigns; 2,000-3,000 through action events; and 5,000-15,000 through listening campaigns, one-time know-your-rights workshops, and educational activities.
Civic Engagement Integrated voter engagement campaign to identify issues of concern to communities, develop capacity and leadership within these communities to reach new scales of engagement, and connect these efforts to achieve increased voter turnout.
