Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of The Grove Center for the Arts & Media is to cultivate the spiritual life and creative work of artists. We do that through Grove Gatherings, Grove Getaway artist retreats and giving small grants and scholarships to artists.
The Grove Center for Worship Arts expanded its reach to supporting the work of arts. Our Cultivated Artist Experience held new retreats for two new cohort groups of 19 artists. The year culminated in our first Cultivated ARtst Showcase event, an evening celebrating the arts and artists. Over 250 people were in attendance who experienced live music, poetry and book readings, a visual arts show, the Grove Artist Grants Awards. The Grove gave out $20,000 to 20 artist grant winners to further their creative careers and art work. The Grove also partnered with the artist center, Villa Con Cuore, and helped advance their work with consulting and website development.
