Advancing Compassion Project is organized to provide charitable and educational assistance to the public by bringing financial support and increasing community awareness to individuals and oranizations helping the underserved or providing other charitable or educational benefit to the public.
ProPhilanthropy program. The ProPhilanthropy program provided funds to low-income and disadvantaged individuals and small groups to promote self-sufficiency through establishment or growth of an income activity or obtaining vocational, educational or other training. In a number of cases in which individuals were successful, a portion of the funds were paid back to ProPhilanthropy and these were then used to fund other individuals. During the fiscal year, a total of $224,017 was paid out in grants, and $246,202 was paid back which was then used in the funding of others. The excess received was due to a combination of reduced microfinance expenditures due to Covid-19 and repayments of grants issued from prior fiscal years.
CARE Zambia. Advancing Compassion Project supported the efforts of LendWithCare, an initiative of poverty fighting charity CARE International UK which is affiliated with Care International. CARE provides assistance on the basis of need, regardless of race, creed or nationality addressing the rights of vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls.
Global Legacy (United Charitable). Support of an ongoing charitable program which advocates for the hungry, needy and politically under-represented individuals, families and communities
