Funding for the creation and operation of Zolozolo Bible Center (ZBC) in Zolozolo, Malawi. Mbeya provided funds for the outfitting, opening, and staffing of Zolozolo Bible Center. ZBC provides free outreach, evangelism, education and counseling programs for people living in the township. Through our funding, ZBC was able to provide financial stipends for volunteers who served from within the township. ZBC is a community facility with meeting halls, kitchen , and dormitories servicing roughly 1,000 people in the Zolzolo township. Navigators of Malawi (a registered Malawian religious organization) is a partner org that assists in running ZBC.
Funding for the operation of Bethel Bible College (BBC) in Mzuzu, Malawi. Mbeya continues its support of Bethel Bible College in Mzuzu, Malawi by providing funds for student sponsorships, teacher stipends, and special 2-week intensive theological education seminars. BBC serviced 7 full-time students and 24 part-time students in 2020. BBC provides hostels, meals, library services, classroom education, theological resources, and ministry practicals for students. Financial support is given to Malawi Assemblies of God (a registered Malawian religious organization) for use of the campus.
Funding for village outreach practicals for pastors and pastors-in-training in the Northern Region (Mzimba, Rumphi, Karonga, Chitipa districts) of Malawi. In partnership with Bethel Bible College, Mbeya provided funding for practical outreaches for pastors in the northern region of Malawi. Outreaches included Biblical evangelism, teaching, training, youth programs, children's ministries, and church services. Approximately 1,000 people in three villages were serviced in 2020 through these outreaches, including 5 interns from Zolozolo.
