Point Loma Credit Union provides its membership competitively priced deposits products. As of 12/31/16, the credit union held 35,999 saving accounts, 24,057 checking accounts, 4,554 money market accounts, 2,554 share certificates, and 1,934 IRA certificates in the amount of $109,813,332, $131,350,422, $109,232,699, $27,830,519, and $16,050,964 respectively. In total, the credit union held 69,098 accounts in the amount of $394,277,936 for the membership of 37,745.
Point Loma Credit Union provides its membership competitive consumer loan programs including vehicle loans and unsecured loans as well as business loan program to help our local small businesses. The credit union funded 3,269 new consumer loans and business loans in the amount of $48,909,104. As of 12/31/16, the credit union held 11,076 in the amount of $84,619,887.
Point Loma Credit Union offers competitive mortgage loan program to make homeownership more affordable to its membership. In 2016, the credit union funded 444 new real estate loans including 1st and 2nd trust deed mortgages and home equity lines of credit, in the amount of $105,636,142. As of 12/31/16, the credit union held the total of 1,399 real estate loans in the amount of $272,231,721.
