Organizations Filed Purposes: THRIVE PUBLIC SCHOOLS MISSION IS TO INNOVATE, ADAPT AND EXPAND THE CONCEPT OF A 21ST CENTURY SCHOOL BY LEVERAGING TECHNOLOGY AND COLLABORATION TO PROVIDE A RIGOROUS AND HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED TK/K-12 ACADEMIC PROGRAM FOR DIVERSE STUDENTS IN CENTRAL SAN DIEGO. THRIVE IS A NEW PARADIGM FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION THAT ENGAGES LEARNERS AND PERSONALIZES LEARNING TO HELP ALL STUDENTS BE COLLEGE-PREPARED, CAREER-INSPIRED AND COMMUNITY-MINDED.

THRIVE PUBLIC SCHOOLS OPERATES A PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL OFFERING HIGH QUALITY, NATIONALY RECOGNIZED EDUCATION TO STUDNETS IN GRADES K-8. WE CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO SUCCEED BEYOND ACADEMIC PROFICIENCY TO SELF-ACTUALIZATION, FOSTERING SELF-REGULATION IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE LONG-TERM ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP IN POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL AND BEYOND. OUR CLASSES ARE ACADEMICALLY RIGOROUS, ENGAGE STUDENTS, AND EMPHASIZE APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE. TOOLS AND MODALITIES MATCH THE LEARNING AND MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR DIVERSE POPULATION. WORKING WITH FAMILIES IN AUTHENTIC, MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL WAYS, WE VALUE PARENTS AS PARTNERS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AND PROVIDE FAMILIES WITH TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO FACILITATE FAMILY LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. WE CREATE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT WHERE ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAN COLLABORATE, LEARN AND BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES. WE IMPLEMENT A CLEAR STRATEGIC PLAN, HARNESS THE ENERGY AND RESOURCE OF THRIVE AND CONTINUOUSLY REVIEW AND ADJUST PRACTICES TO ASSURE GOALS ARE MET. OUR HIGH QUALITY STAFF ARE SELECTED THROUGH A RIGOROUS PROCESS ALL STAFF WORK TOGETHER CONTINUOUSLY TO IMPROVE SCHOOL THROUGH STRONG PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ACCESS TO TOOLS AND RESOURCES THAT IMPACT STUDENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL SUCCESS. DURING 2015-16 WE SERVED OVER 180 STUDENTS.
